Dr Nazim Shah is the Principal Dentist at Lye Dental & Implant Centre, with a practice focused on implant and restorative dentistry. After graduating from Queen Mary University of London, he completed a postgraduate Level 7 Diploma in Implant Dentistry and has continued to develop his expertise through advanced postgraduate training, with a particular focus on implant, restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Nazim provides a wide range of dental implant treatments, from replacing a single missing tooth to full-mouth rehabilitation, combining meticulous planning with a patient-focused approach to achieve predictable, long-lasting results. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, recognising his commitment to clinical excellence and the profession. Alongside his role at Lye Dental & Implant Centre, Nazim practices in Harley Street, London, providing advanced restorative, implant and Invisalign treatment. Before pursuing dentistry, Nazim qualified and practised as a social worker, supporting adults and children with severe learning disabilities. This experience continues to influence his compassionate, patient-centred approach to care. Outside the practice, he enjoys reading fiction and playing padel.

Nazia graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2006, and holds a Diploma of Medical Education from the University of Wolverhampton. She completed her MJDF at the Royal College of Surgeons in London and a PGCert in Dental Law and Ethics from the University of Bedfordshire. Nazia is our lead sedation dentist, qualifying in 2009. She is very good at accommodating her patients' needs, and nervous patients especially will appreciate her kind and caring approach to dental care.
