Excessive Sweating Treatment in Stourbridge
Stay dry, stay
yourself.
Sweating you cannot control, through your shirt, on your palms before a handshake, is exhausting to manage and rarely talked about. A simple course of injections calms the overactive glands, so you can get through the day without planning it around sweat.
Excessive sweating
When sweat has
a mind of its own.
Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, means sweating far more than your body needs to, whatever the weather or your nerves. The same injections used to relax muscles can also switch off the signal to overactive sweat glands, so a treated area simply stops overproducing for months at a time.

Underarms — the most common area
Palms — sweaty hands
Soles of the feet — damp, slippery feet
What it can treat
Wherever it
troubles you most.
Hyperhidrosis tends to concentrate in a few key places, and it can make everyday things, shaking hands, holding a pen, wearing what you want, quietly stressful. These are the areas we treat most often for excessive sweating. Tap each to see.

Underarms
The classic problem area: damp patches that show through shirts, ruined fabrics, and a constant awareness of what you are wearing. A course of small injections into each underarm calms the sweat glands, and most people enjoy months of staying comfortably dry.

Palms
Clammy hands can make a simple handshake or holding a phone feel awkward, and they are one of the most socially wearing forms of sweating. Treatment settles the glands in the palms so your hands stay dry and sure, though we always talk through what to expect for this sensitive area first.

Feet
Sweaty soles can mean shoes that slip, socks that never feel dry, and self-consciousness about taking your shoes off. Injections to the soles reduce the sweating at its source, for feet that feel fresher and more comfortable through the day.

Why have it done
at a dental practice?
Treating excessive sweating well takes a steady hand, a careful mapping of the area, and someone comfortable giving precise injections. A dental professional does exactly that kind of work every day, which makes a practice a natural, safe place to have it done.
Careful, precise, and genuinely freeing.
Precision is our day job
Giving accurate, comfortable injections in exactly the right spot is something dentists do all day, every day. That steadiness and precision is exactly what mapping and treating a sweaty area calls for.
We check it is the right fit
Before anything, we talk through how much the sweating affects you, which areas are worst, and whether this treatment is the right route. If something else would serve you better, we will say so honestly.
A quiet weight lifted
People rarely talk about how much excessive sweating wears them down. For many, calming it is a genuine relief: fewer changes of clothes, less planning, more ease in everyday moments that used to cause quiet dread.
A proper clinical setting
This is a registered dental practice, held to strict standards of hygiene and safety. From the sterile setup to the aftercare advice you leave with, everything is done the way a medical treatment should be.
How it works
Simple, from start to finish.
No mystery to it. Four straightforward steps, from the first conversation to lasting relief.
We talk it through
First, we sit down and talk. You tell us how much the sweating affects you and which areas are worst, we check the treatment is suitable, and we explain honestly what results you can realistically expect. No pressure, no rush.
We map the area
Once you are happy to go ahead, we cleanse the area and identify exactly where the sweating is coming from, sometimes with a simple test. This lets us map a neat grid of points so the treatment covers the whole area evenly.
A series of tiny injections
Using one of the finest needles there is, we place a series of small, shallow injections across the mapped area. It is over quite quickly, most people find it very manageable, and there is nothing to recover from before you leave.
Then the dryness sets in
You head straight back to your day. Over the following days the treated area gradually settles and the sweating eases right down, with the full effect usually there within a couple of weeks. We are always here if you have any questions afterwards.
