Dental veneers
A new front,
made for you.
Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front of your teeth. They can change colour, shape and alignment all at once, and they are designed around your face.
-
1.
A thin, custom-made shell of porcelain or composite, bonded to the front of a tooth to change how it looks.
-
2.
A way to change several things at once, colour, shape, size and small gaps, in one carefully planned treatment.
-
3.
A design, not just a repair. We plan the whole smile together before anything is made, so you know what you are getting.
Long-lasting, but not indestructible. Looked after well, good veneers last many years.
Colour — brightness that whitening cannot fix
Shape — chips, worn edges, odd shapes
Alignment — small gaps and slight crookedness
All at once — the whole smile, planned together
What they fix
More than one
thing at once.
Most treatments fix one problem. Veneers can put right several at the same time, in a single planned smile. Tap one to see how.

Discolouration
Some stains sit deep inside the tooth, from old fillings, injury, or certain medicines, and no amount of whitening will lift them. A veneer covers them completely for an even, bright result.

Chips and cracks
A chipped or cracked front tooth is one of the most common reasons people ask about veneers. The veneer restores the natural shape, as though the damage was never there.

Gaps
Veneers can close small gaps between the front teeth without braces, by subtly reshaping the teeth on either side of the space for a seamless line.

Worn or uneven teeth
Years of wear or grinding can leave the front teeth short and flat, and some teeth are simply small or oddly shaped. Veneers rebuild the length and even everything out.

An uneven smile line
When the front teeth sit at different heights or angles, the smile can look uneven. Veneers bring them into balance, so the whole smile line flows naturally.

Designed, not
just fitted.
A good veneer is not off the shelf. It is planned around your face, your other teeth and the look you want, before anything is made.
Planned around you, start to finish.
You see it before we make it
We design your new smile first, and show it to you, so you can shape it, adjust it, and approve it. Nothing is made until you are happy with the plan.
Several problems, one treatment
Colour, shape, small gaps and worn edges can all be put right together. Rather than treating each thing separately, veneers reset the whole front of your smile at once.
Made to look like teeth
The aim is not a row of identical white slabs. Good veneers have subtle variation and translucency, so they look like natural teeth, just at their best.
Built to last
Bonded properly and looked after, veneers hold up for many years. We use them where they genuinely suit you, and tell you honestly when something simpler would do.
How it works
How veneers are made.
From first design to fitted smile, here is the journey.
We design your smile
We start with your goals and a good look at your teeth. We plan the shape, size and shade together, and show you the design before anything is made.
We prepare and scan
A tiny amount of the tooth surface is usually shaped so the veneer sits flush. Then we take a precise scan and, where needed, fit temporaries to wear.
Your veneers are made
Your veneers are crafted to the agreed design by a skilled technician. This is where the plan becomes the real thing, matched to your other teeth.
We fit and bond
We try them in, check you are happy with the look and the fit, then bond them permanently. A final polish, and your new smile is done.

The real decision
Composite or
porcelain?
Both give you veneers, but they suit different people, budgets and timescales. Here is the honest difference, so you can choose well.
Composite veneers
Built up directly onto your teeth in a single visit, using tooth-coloured material shaped by hand. Kinder to the budget, and often no drilling needed.
- Usually done in one visit
- Often little or no tooth removed
- More affordable up front
- Easy to repair or adjust later

Porcelain veneers
Custom-made in a lab from fine porcelain, then bonded on. More natural-looking, more stain-resistant, and longer-lasting, over two or more visits.
- The most natural look and translucency
- Highly stain-resistant
- Longer-lasting, many years
- Made in a lab to an exact design
